Circulation previlege

srinaththota
HI good morning,

In patron circulation privilege I have set 14 days loan period for each book and one time renewal. I want to give permissions only one week for renewal instead of two weeks. Is it possible.

I have given the permissions to patron to renew their documents through OPAC. when parton login to his/her account it is showing the documents to renew. But there is no option to send the renewal request. How should I proceed for the same.

Thanks&Regards

Thank you for your swift reply. I have configured it earlier itself. But I am looking for sending renewal request/renewing a document through OPAC. Is it possible. I am able to select the Item but there is no option for submit the task.

and please clarify the below request also.

Hi,

1. In OPAC, there is an option in My Library -> Renew checked out items. You will find a list of items that are checked out. Select the item to renewed and click on the"Renew"(Green) button. The system will make following checks before renewing
a. Whether the item is in the appropriate time for renewal
b. Is the item NOT in demand
c. Is the item NOT recalled
Upon "Yes" of all above conditions the item renews
There is no further "Request" made to librarian for renewal

2. Right now renewal does a renew for loan period (duration) only. We will consider this as an enhancement for future updates

Thank you for your inputs
